My darling beloved Nannie.
Words cannot describe how much we will all miss you. You filled our lives with so much joy and laughter and were the inspirational pillar of strength within the Wilson side of the family. The courage and strength you showed when life was tough is incredible and I am full of admiration for you.
I'm so unbelievably proud to call you my Nannie. Your loving and gentle ways, along with your spirited and quick-witted humour, made it impossible not to love you. I loved how deceiving your quiet demeanour was, as we all knew how silly, playful and hilarious you were underneath it all.
About 5-years ago we sat for hours one afternoon looking through old photos of you, Granddad and even Mum, Julie and Marion. It is one of my absolute favourite memories as you spoke about everything like it happened just yesterday. I particularly enjoyed hearing about the first time you saw Granddad and the years that followed. I will cherish those conversations forever and continue to pass them on to our family in the years to come.
You will live on through all of us forever more in our thoughts and memories. My Mum and Aunts have certainly mastered your infamous ‘look’!
Here’s to you Nan, a beautiful person inside and out whom I will continue to respect always. A very traditional lady, yet you were totally in touch with the times (sometimes more than me) not bad for a 95 year old.
We will all take great comfort that you are reunited with Granddad finally and looking after one another again. No doubt you are at the seaside somewhere looking sensational in a handmade outfit.
Until we meet again Nan, God bless.
Love you loads, always and forever.
